I would hope you do! I haven't seen those two animes, but my sister has, she likes them both... especially The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Maybe I should give them a go.
If your sister has them lying around, you should watch them. Are you not an anime person? I imagine some of them would surprise you, as they have surprised me. (Although others have also confirmed my original prejudice against anime, so approach with caution.)
