[8/31 Entry:]
Watched these today:
Little Man, What Now? (1934)
Man's Castle (1933)
Seventh Heaven (1927)
I am growing fond of Frank Borzage's work, in spite of some religious weavings. Little Man especially impressed me. (The very pathos of the title stirs something in me.)

Yes! I am already working on a new post on Dudley Murphy and The Emperor Jones, as promised. I am liking this blogging thing, I find myself spending more time on my blog than most other websites. Which is great, and somewhat self conscious I guess. Expect more (detailed) posts on Fritz (from the way things are looking, he may be the subject of most of my posts), my intention is to make my blog kind of like your Gleanings from the Past, but just a little more canon. I hope you end up checking out Hangmen Also Die! I have a feeling that it is something you can appreciate, possibly love. Who Knows!?
Anyway, glad to see you liked Little Man, What Now? And I agree on the extraordinary power and energy in just the title of that film. Speaking of Borzage, I am not sure if you are aware of this, there is going to be a new box 12-disc set with more of his films (along with a few of Murnau's, including City Girl). Coming out around Christmas. I am very excited to watch Man's Castle on the big screen this fall.
Also, what are you going to do with Another Mango Grove?

Ask Lauren about this disease. I have it at times, too. It is my homepage and the one place I am continually playing with, even when you do not see the results of I am doing (you ought to see the dozens of posts never published...)

Good, good. I intended to restart my Gleanings tonight. Hope your Gleanings are just as exciting.

More like LOVED. I am unable to keep it from my thoughts.

Quite aware and exceedingly excited. It gives me time to scrounge around for other Borzage, and its arrival will likely make me a Borzage expert. Great anticipation.

What luck! Have you seen it before?

For the moment it's my underground bunker. I plan and experiment with things there that would terrify you were I to divulge. No, I must keep it from prying eyes, but know that it is there. *mad laugh*

I haven't, which makes this screening so much more exciting.

RIVETING! This whole idea almost sounds evil, I am excited for an unveiling.
